Sponsoring
At Luxury Marine, we believe that the future of sailing belongs to those who have the courage to break new ground and those who support them. That's why we are a proud sponsor of the Next Generation Boating Around the World Campaign | Class40.
This project is driven by the young entrepreneurs Lennart Burke and Melwin Fink, the founders of Next Generation Boating. With their own shipyard locations in Hamburg and Kiel, they represent a new era of maritime leadership: innovative, ambitious, and deeply connected to the sailing community.
The Kiel location also serves as a specialized service center for Solaris Yachts in the Baltic and North Seas, underlining our joint commitment to long-term support and technical excellence.
Why we are a sponsor
We support this campaign because sailing grows when people work together.
Ben and Lars want to show that the maritime world is not just based on tradition, but is built for the next generation. Supporting Lennart and Melwin means promoting entrepreneurial spirit, courage, and the future of offshore racing.
At the race start in Lorient, Ben experienced something special: shipyards, suppliers, designers, sponsors, and sailors came together with a common goal. The energy was palpable, proof that the sailing industry is strongest when it acts as a unit.
The reality of offshore sailing
Offshore races are unpredictable. During their circumnavigation, damage to the mast boomerang forced the team to abandon their attempt.
It was a tough moment, but also a reminder of the raw reality of Class40 racing.
True to their spirit, Lennart and Melwin didn't give up. They rejoined the race in Brazil to sail the final leg back to Lorient, thus setting the stage for an epic duel across the Atlantic.
More than just a logo on the sail
For Luxury Marine, this partnership is not marketing; it reflects our beliefs: strong networks, technical understanding, and a long-term commitment to the sailing world.
By fostering young talent, strengthening service structures in Northern Europe and remaining closely connected to the performance side of sailing, the industry is growing.
And that's exactly why we're part of this project.
