All Solaris Yachts are characterized by their exceptional stability and torsional rigidity. The structural components, which must withstand the enormous stresses on the high seas, are generously dimensioned and designed with high safety reserves. A sailing yacht is a complex system exposed to the forces of wind and water, which it must optimally utilize. These forces can be considerable: the pressure of the rig on the mast base, for example, can reach the entire weight of the vessel. To withstand these stresses, Solaris yachts are constructed to withstand neither deformation nor twisting.
Particular attention is paid to critical areas such as the connection between the keel and hull, the strongback, and the chain plates. Here, Solaris relies on sophisticated solutions and precise construction: A 40 mm thick composite main bulkhead is laminated in, the floor assembly consists of individually laminated beams and stringers – not a glued-in inner shell. In addition, there are composite chain plates, as used in one-off racers, and a keel-hull connection with an extra-wide flange. These high-quality components ensure optimal distribution of forces across the entire structure of the yacht. The careful connection of hull and deck to form a monolithic unit ensures maximum stability and durability – a hallmark of Solaris Yachts.

Solaris has its origins in historic Aquileia, a former Roman city between Venice and Trieste. The region rich in tradition, which once served as a hub for important trade routes and shaped the maritime tradition of the Republic of Venice, has been home to the Solaris shipyard since the 1970s.
Today, Solaris combines the latest technology with traditional craftsmanship at this historic location. On a total area of 26.000 m², including 6.000 m² of covered halls, sailing yachts of up to 100 feet in length are built in the ultra-modern production facility.
