Built for fast, comfortable and secure sailing, this pure cruiser-racer has a timeless quality, performing with ease in all sea conditions. It combines the experience of Cantieri SeRiGi with the expertise and flair of naval architect Bill Tripp – the man behind many of the most successful waterlines in competitive racing. The use of vacuum-infused composites and bi-directional fibreglass has created a light hull that is nevertheless far more resistant to dynamic stress than conventional resin-bonded laminates. The lead/antimony keel ballast combines with the hull designs to take advantage of these qualities. The hull lines give high performance in light conditions, stability and comfort in heavy weather, with no compromises on the ease of handling – even with a small crew.
The division between steering position and guests’ cockpit, along with the ingenious, high-spec underdeck rigging system, turns even single-handed control of the yacht into “easy sailing”. Its lifting keel option allows it access to the shallowest of marinas. The yacht is very passenger-friendly, with an elegant cockpit, aft sundeck and hydraulically operated swim platform, allowing easy access to the boat, and storage for the dinghy. There are ample sail lockers fore and aft. With its superbly designed deck layout and immaculate finishing, this cruiser has the perfect balance of performance and comfort. Clean, stylish lines, excellent functionality, peerless finishing – these are the qualities that characterise the interior design and build of the Solaris Yacht 60’. The range of materials is wide, but only of the highest quality.
Interior – All cabins have double berths, the owner’s cabin being an island berth. All three may be located off a passage to the fore of the boat, or the owner’s cabin can be at the fore, with the two guest cabins aft. With either configuration, each cabin has its own en-suite shower room, ample storage and hanging lockers. The centrally located saloon will seat eight with ease, changing configuration with each option. The navstation integrates well with the saloon whilst being perfectly configured for its purpose. With all cabins to the fore, then the crew quarters and galley are located to the aft; with the guest cabins to the aft, the crew quarters and galley are located between the saloon and the owner’s cabin.
The galley is fully equipped with ample storage, ‘and has enough flexibility to have extra utilities installed. It should be noted here that because of the extensive experience and high professional standards of the Solaris team, customisation and choice are always available when clients are deciding upon the layout of their yacht. You have the freedom to make your own choices; we have the ability to realise them. Designing with our trademark Italian style, Solaris work with you to create a beautiful space that reflects your own individuality and help you make a home on the ocean.
